Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Easr Coast Natural Gas Distribution Pvt. Ltd. (ECNGDPL), we strive to provide transparent and customer-friendly services. Please read the following Refund & Cancellation Policy carefully before making any payment through our portal.

1. Security Deposit Refund

   • The security deposit consists of two components: one refundable and one non-refundable.
   • The non-refundable portion covers application processing charges and is not eligible for a refund.
   • The refundable portion is subject to the applicable area-specific terms and conditions.
   • Eligible refunds will be processed to the customer's wallet as per the applicable area policy.

2. Gas Consumption Invoice Amount

   • The gas consumption invoice amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.
   • Customers are responsible for timely payment of all gas consumption bills.
   • If the bi-monthly bill is not received, customers must obtain a duplicate copy from the supplier and make payment before the due date.

3. Meter Reading Discrepancies

   • Any discrepancy in meter readings will be verified and necessary adjustments will be made in subsequent bills, wherever applicable.
   • The gas consumption invoice amount already paid remains non-refundable.

4. Modification Charges Refund

   • If a customer-initiated modification request cannot be fulfilled, the applicable non-refundable modification charges will not be refunded.

5. Dishonored Banking Instrument

   • Administrative charges levied due to dishonored banking instruments (such as cheque or bank transaction failures) are non-refundable.
   • Any additional expenses arising from such transactions shall be borne by the customer.

6. Cancellation of PNG Connection

   • Customers wishing to cancel their PNG connection must submit a written cancellation request.
   • The original payment receipts for refundable security deposits must be provided.
   • The refundable security deposit will be released after:
     • Deduction of the final gas consumption bill.
     • Adjustment of any outstanding dues.
     • Return of the gas meter and other company fittings to the supplier in good condition.

7. Wallet Refund Process

   • Where applicable, refunds will be limited to the refundable portion of the security deposit.
   • Eligible refund amounts will be credited to the customer's wallet.
   • The wallet balance may be used for future transactions or withdrawn upon the customer's request, subject to applicable procedures.
